Austin Hodges received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology at University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa in. After graduation, he spent a year and a half working in an Allergy & Immunology clinic as a medical assistant. He went on to earn his Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022 at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. He joined Vascular and Interventional Professionals in 2022 as a Physician Assistant where he performs minimally invasive procedures in collaboration with VIR physicians.

Austin is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support.
