Dana Vivona
Dana received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. She began her career as a Registered Nurse with clinical experience in oncology and emergency medicine before earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago in 2015. She became board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in early 2016.
Dana has over seven years of advanced practice experience, serving as a Nurse Practitioner in the emergency departments at the University of Chicago, as well as in trauma surgery. She is a certified Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner, and holds additional credentials in ACLS, PALS, ECRN, and CEN.
In 2023, Dana joined VIR Chicago, where she works collaboratively with the physician team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered, and high-quality care. She is committed to ensuring each patient receives thoughtful, evidence-based treatment and an exceptional clinical experience.
