John F Olivieri, Jr - MD

Dr. John F. Olivieri, Jr. completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine, where he also completed an internship in General Surgery followed by a residency in Diagnostic Radiology with Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR). During his training, he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete his Independent Interventional Radiology training at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Dr. Olivieri is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care using minimally invasive techniques. His clinical interests include the treatment of a broad range of conditions such as peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer-related care, and portal hypertension. He is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care as part of the VIR team.
